A video of a Nigerian man being tied-up and beaten by masked men has gone viral on social media.

Our investigation into what led to such brutality has revealed that the man was being held in Pakistan over a drug deal gone wrong.

It turns out the victim was used as collateral for drugs by his cousin, Andrew Okwudili Mosah who received drugs from Pakistani drug lords on the condition that his cousin would be released once he sells the drugs and pays the drug lords.

Andrew who is from Umudim village in Akwaukwu Anambra State has however not returned to Pakistan with the money as agreed, and the Pakistani drug dealers have threatened kill the victim.
